If plugin developers would be able to hook into the "Whats up John Doe" Box and add there user interface for "uploading Pictures" or "adding a Link" (MrMaz Plugin) it would encourage more people to use this features. The User Interface could slide in under the "Whats up John Doe" Box once u cklick one of the options beside "Attach:".
